IN this week's Flyers Tournament in Birkenhead Park Tixall's Jamie Fitzpatrick once again came through a large entry to take the top spot beating Lever's John Roberts in the final.

In three visits Fitzpatrick has yet to lose a game and is clearly in tremendous form.

In both his quarter final and semi-final games he had to be at his best to get through to the final against two previous winners, Tixall's Mick Andrews and Gladstone's Ray Lynch.

Meanwhile, John Roberts had been just too good for New Brighton Quarry Vikings John Harrison in the quarters before he had a very good win over Hawksbury's Paul Roberts in the semi-final.

Fitzpatrick was superb in the final giving Roberts very few chances and he powered his way to an emphatic victory.

Results:

Quarter-finals: J. Roberts (Levers) 21, J. Harrison (New Brighton Quarry Vikings) 09; P. Roberts (Hawksbury) 21, T. Ratcliffe (Upton Victory Hall) 18; J. Fitzpatrick (Tixall) 21, M. Andrews (Tixall) 18; R. Lynch (Gladstone) 21, E. Dutton (New Brighton Quarry Vikings) 14.
