Motormen welcome Dragons to Rivacre Park

MOTORS welcome Blue Square Bet Premier side Wrexham to Rivacre Park this Saturday, July 21.
Twelve months ago, the Motormen were scheduled to face Wrexham here, but less than 48 hours prior to the friendly, this had to be cancelled due to difficulties back at the Racecourse ground.
Those issues were overcome shortly after and Wrexham confounded the experts by claiming another play-off spot in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Vauxhall Motors charman Alan Bartlam said: “I am pleased to welcome Wrexham back to Rivacre Park for our annual friendly.
“This will be a great test for us considering Wrexham finished third in the league above us last season.
"If you are looking for a football fix this Saturday, please try and come along and see Vauxhalls against one of the best non-league sides in the North West.”
Focusing on players, he added: “‘I have no doubt Carl Macauley has been working his magic once again with astute signings, some of which we are likely to see in action in our colours for the first time against Wrexham.
“While we are always going to face budget restraints due to the size of the club, Carl somehow unearths some really talented players who can more than hold their own at this standard of football."
Admission prices against Wrexham will be £6 for adults, £4 concessions, £2 students (student ID required or adult price will be charged) and under-16s get in for £1. Kick-off will be at 3pm.
