CHESHIRE Cup holders Queens Park booked a semi-final berth in this year's competition thanks to a great team effort, which helped them see off the challenge of Stockport based Cale Green.
1-0 up through a Lee Gibson penalty, the Queens was pegged back and at half time it was all square.
A quick fire double from Mike Burke had the Queens in command but another fine strike from a Cale Green marksman set up a tense finish.
Woodchurch were also in Cheshire Cup action, but they found St Joseph in fine form losing the tie 4-3.
