James Anettes, Darren Parry firing in for New Brighton, Matty Smith was on target for The Village.

One O'Clock Gun 1 Birkenhead FC 3. The Gun's impressive 100% record came to an abrupt end against much improved Birkenhead.

Man of the match Ray Cox steered a clever chip over the keeper aided by a Ryan Morgan, Alan Lewis strike for the visitors. Leading scorer Jamie Edwards fired in for The Gun, who remain in top spot.

Universal Windows 2 Moreton 2. Paul Keeran struck from the edge of the box, backed by a Lee Duffy single to earn Moreton a point away from home. James Marnell and Guy Anderson salvaged a point for Universal with a goal a piece.

Athletic Kings 0 Bronze Social 5. Stevie Smythe lead the way with a brace, Dave Ritson 1, Matty Wood 1, and John Berry beating three players to fire into the top corner in a convincing win away from home for The Bronze.

Bebington Rovers 2 Greenbank Villa 2. A Phil McNally penalty and a John Crofton effort was not enough for Rovers as Greenbank came back to grab their first point of the season in a well contested draw.

Gaggs Hill 1 Neston Legion 1. Man of the match Kenny Dillon glided a header past the Neston keeper to earn a point for Gaggs Hill, against the former league leaders in a hard fought home draw.

Park Central Vaults 3 Unitor 4. A double each for Vinny O'Toole and debutant Antony Daniels was enough to seal victory in an epic seven goal thriller for Unitor.

Top scorer Paul Gunderson cushioned home a header aided by Alister Gunn and Matty Hughes for The Vaults.

Tower FC 3 Wirral Wanderers 3. Mike Williams and Luke Griffiths were on song as was Alan Williams with a well taken penalty kick for The Towers.

Jae Lloyd snatched a double followed by a Darren Corness strike as Wanderers came back from being three behind at half-time.

Wirral Hundred 4 Ridgewood Rangers 0. After a well deserved victory at home, Wirral leap frogged Neston into top spot.

Top scorer Peter Stewart netted yet again, with volleys for both Steven Lowry and Ben Cloney, Darren Amis completed the scoring for high flying Wirral.
