QUEENS Park added The Tony Houlihan League Memorial Challenge Cup to the Veronica Conway Premier Cup after a comfortable 4-0 win over close rivals and Premier Division Champions Dock AFC.

Victory was thanks to Dave Webb with a pair, supplemented with Leon Detlaff and Adam Smith strikes.

Queens Park have lifted the trophy nine times and also completed a domestic cup double no fewer than four times.

Stirrup Sports and Social lifted the Jimmy Core Memorial Trophy in midweek (Division three teams only) at the expense of Barcode FC, thanks to a double each from Paul Devey and John Duddy with a resounding 4-1 scoreline.

Paul Devey notched another fine brace on Sunday with Stirrup goalkeeper Ryan Woods also saving a penalty in a 2-0 success over Division Three Champions Wirral Radio.

Stirrup have almost secured the Runners up spot they need to play MSC Eastham in the final match in the Division.

They need not to get beaten by a 9-0 score for the Eastham side to pinch the spot with a runners up medal, but will be promoted as it is the three top teams that will go into Division Two.

Action from Division Two saw Ellesmere Port Athletic register maximum points in midweek, with a single strike from Ste Griffiths at Bedford FC 1-0 on Tuesday followed by a 4-2 success at Bogans Carpets on Thursday.

On the scoresheet this time were Tom Boulton with a double, John Britton and a 25-yard free kick from Ellis.

On Sunday the Port side came from 0-2 deficit to earn a 2-2 draw with New Ferry Rangers (Liam Stephens and Paul Smith) thanks to a superb bullet header from skipper Michael Cooper and a Ross Grimes strike.

Athletic also missed a penalty.

Ellesmere Port Athletic must now play their last game of the season and beat New Ferry Rangers in the reversal of Sunday's fixture to be crowned Division two champions.

If New Ferry Rangers win they will be lifting the trophy, if it is a draw Telegraph will be the winners after they posted a 4-2 result over Bedford FC (Liam Keating Jay Blackburn) thanks to strikes from Carl Hadden, a duo of goals from Joe Foxley and Scott Wright.

All three clubs again will be promoted.

A fine hat-trick from Sean Philips supported by Kieran Hamm and a 40-yard Screamer from Ryan Smith for Birch Tree kept them in pole position in Division One after a resounding 5-0 result.

They are now three points clear with a game in hand and have three games to play.

PSV Athletic (Connor Egan (2), Danny Blades (2), Tom Byrne) who are close on the heels accounted for AFC Houlihan's (Vinny O'Toole) 5-1 in what could turn out to be crucial game.

All three teams have a chance of promotion with only two teams guaranteed a place in the Premier Division.

It is an exciting finale to the end of the season.

There are six key games to decide, with games taking place on Tuesday, Thursday and the final Sunday.

It could go down to the wire.
