A PITCH inspection determined that tonight's game at Prenton Park will be called off after heavy rain fall overnight.
Tranmere Rovers were set to go head-to-head with Forest Green Rovers.
An impressive 5-1 victory over fellow promotion chasers Barrow in the Buildbase FA Trophy on Saturday meant Rovers hung on to their fourth place position.
A match official came to inspect the pitch and made the decision to postpone the game.
This is the first postponement at Prenton Park for weather related issues since the 2012-13 season.
