MIDFIELDER Adam Dawson is back at Tranmere Rovers after signing a contract that sees him at Prenton Park until the end of next season.
The 24-year-old had a loan spell at Prenton Park during last season where he made nine appearances in a Rovers shirt.
He began this season with fellow National League side Eastleigh, where he made 11 appearances and scored one goal.
Bury-born Dawson left his home-town club to join Liverpool aged 14 for a reported fee of £100,000 before signing his first professional contract with Wigan Athletic.
He then moved to Leicester City in 2013, from where he had a loan spell with Bristol Rovers at the end of the 2014-15 season, helping them to promotion into the Football League.
Tranmere manager Micky Mellon said: "I'm delighted to bring Adam to the Club.
"He is a very good player and someone who is already familiar with the place and a lot of the players from his time here last season.
"It's important to have different options within the squad and Adam will bring a bit of balance to the squad and allow us to play different ways when we need to."
