TRANMERE Rovers' defender Lee Vaughan has signed a new one-year contract with the club today.
He came to Prenton Park on loan from Cheltenham Town at the end of November, making the move permanent two months later.
The 29-year-old was a regular in Gary Brabin's squad in the second half of last season, making 25 appearances and scoring two goals.
Manager Gary Brabin said: "I'm delighted that Lee is staying at the club for next season.
"He is an experienced defender who did really well for us after he joined last season, helping us to an improved second half of the campaign, so I’m pleased that he’s remaining a Tranmere player."
