JACK Bleakley from West Kirby was racing his 600cc Yamaha bike in the Pirelli Super Series races for 600 and 1,000cc bikes at Oulton Park on Easter Friday and Saturday.
While he was racing against bikes of 1,000cc as well as other 600cc ones, the 600cc bikes were a little more agile in the corners and he qualified in sixth overall, ahead of 18 1,000cc bikes.
With the 600cc bikes starting at the back of the grid, class results were a better indication of progress.
Starting from the back of the grid, he passed eight of the larger capacity bikes to finish in a very useful 14th overall and second in his class.

For his second race, again starting near the back, he did well to finish second in his class of nine bikes.
In what was his final race of the day, he finished first in his class and sixth overall in what were atrocious weather conditions.
Sean Neary from Lymm was in dominating form while racing his 899cc Ducati in the Pirelli Super Series Championship races as well as the All-Comers Trophy races.
In the Pirelli Super Series, he qualified in 10th out of 33 bikes and in the first race he got up to third by the end of the first lap and held that place to the finish line. For the remaining races on the Sunday, he was unable to start.
He dominated qualifying in the All-Comers Trophy races, taking pole position, and then led the first race from start to finish and finished a mammoth 10 seconds ahead of the second- place bike
