TRANMERE Rovers' first team coach says he is prepared for the squad to take the fight for a play-off place to the wire.
During a press conference ahead of the Easter weekend games against Lincoln City and Kidderminster, Shaun Garnett said he was not happy with the club's place on the National League table and the players would step up their fight for the remaining 21 points of the season.
They face Lincoln City at Prenton Park on Good Friday afternoon and are away to Kidderminster on Bank Holiday Monday.
Shaun Garnett said this afternoon: "We know we have to win games and we are, by no means, happy with our position. We want to make it to the play-offs.
"If it goes to the wire, then it goes to the wire. There are 21 points left to play for."
Tranmere salvaged a point following a 1-1 draw with Forest Green at Prenton Park on Saturday and are now sixth on the league table.
Garnett said: "We were disappointed that we didn't get the three points on Saturday.
"So these are massive important back-to-back games at the weekend.
"Lincoln won’t be an easy game, neither will Kidderminster.
"Our aim is to get the points on Friday."
