BIRKENHEAD-born England striker Jodie Taylor will attend Tranmere Rovers' home game against Guiseley on November 21 as part of our Women in Football Day at Prenton Park.

Jodie's career started at Prenton Park as a junior in the girls' teams. She progressed into the Tranmere Rovers Ladies first team at the age of just 15 as a prolific goalscorer.

She went on to score 29 goals from just 38 first team appearances before accepting a scholarship in America with Oregon State University.

Her career since has taken her to Canada, Australia, Sweden, back in England with Birmingham City and Lincoln Ladies and now back in America where she plays for Portland Thorns, although she is on loan to Australian club Canberra United.

Jodie has also gone on to play international football for England and was a part of the Lionesses squad which finished third at the Women’s World Cup earlier this year, scoring against host nation Canada in the quarter-finals.

There will be the opportunity to meet Jodie and get photos and autographs from one of the stars of the women’s game in the FanZone before the game, while post-match.

Jodie will conduct a Q&A in the Arthur J Gallagher Platinum Suite so if you have anything to ask her about her career or scoring in the World Cup, there will be the opportunity to do so.

Tickets are from www.trfctickets.co.uk, the ticket office at Prenton Park or by calling 03330 144452.
