TRANMERE Rovers face Dover Athletic in what promises to be a tough match at Prenton Park this weekend.
Rovers are currently fifth on the table after their 2-0 victory over league leaders Forest Green Rovers on October 17.
They were knocked out of the FA Cup after after a fourth qualifying round replay against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank on Tuesday night.
Currently third on the National League table, Dover have only suffered one defeat from their last 10 matches.
During a press conference at Prenton Park ahead of tomorrow's game, Tranmere manager Gary Brabin said he was not surprised by how well this weekend's opponents were doing.
He said : "Dover will be another big physical side, they're riding high in the league and it will be another tough game.
"They are a side who have progressed year on year and I don't think it's any surprise to see where they are in the table.
"They've got some good experienced players so we're aware of the threat they'll pose."
Missing from Brabin's squad will be midfielder Jay Harris, who picked up his fifth yellow card against Lincoln on Tuesday night, and goalkeeper Scott Davies, who was sent off in that FA Cup replay in midweek.
Brabin admits that it's frustrating to be without the two players but on the other hand, there are two more who could be fit to return to action.
He said: "Jay Harris will be a big miss for us. We'll be without both of our ever-present players with Scott Davies missing out as well.
"We feel like we're getting one or two back and then we lose one or two. But that happens and I'm sure our luck on that front will change.
"We should have a few more attacking options with Andy Mangan back in training and we should have Gary Taylor-Fletcher back as well."
