WEST Kirby Sailing Club recently staged a GP14 Open Meeting on the Marine Lake with sixteen dinghies in competition.
Nantwich and Border Counties visitor Lawrence Cresser was in good form aboard Sandwich and with four wins took the overall Gold Fleet prize.
John Louis Simons in Wuf was runner-up with Steve Stratton in Misdeameanour third overall. Both sailed under the West Kirby burgee.
The Silver Fleet prize was claimed by home entrant Mal Jones in Moondust.
