ROVERS boss Gary Brabin was pleased with Saturday's season-opening win against Woking - but is aware that games are coming thick and fast and all eyes are on the away trip to Gateshead this evening.
The manager said he knows that the North East outfit will be a tough test.
He said: "It was a new start, a new era and it was important to get that first win on Saturday and I'm delighted that we got it.
"Everyone wants to get off to a winning start and Gateshead achieved that and it's their first home fixture so it will be a tough game.
"Malcolm Crosby has a lot of experience and he'll make them a difficult opponent. He's recruited well in the summer so we're expecting a tough evening.
"Gateshead are an ambitious club.
"They made the play-offs two seasons ago and were disappointed not to make the play-offs last term, so they'll be having a right go for it again this year. It's always a tough place to go but we'll be prepared for it."
Kick-off at the the International Stadium will be at 7.45pm.
