TRANMERE Rovers' manager Gary Brabin has hinted he would still like to add to his squad before the new season gets under way in less than a fortnight's time.
A number of triallists have been used in the friendly fixtures to-date, and Brabin was pleased with their performances in the latest game against Blackburn on Friday night.
Rovers' National League season begins with a home game against Woking on August 8.
Brabin said: "The way we planned our pre-season, we wanted to do the first 10 days with the first team, development players and youth team and then we've invited trialists in and we've had a few over the last 10 days to two weeks.
"We've had a good look at them and we're whittling it down to the people we're really looking at and want to see a little bit more of.
"We've definitely got goals in us but there are other ways of making that happen and they're areas we're looking at.
"We have a couple of things in mind but we certainly won't be panicking.
"We had Liam Ridehalgh and Lois Maynard playing in the wide midfield positions on Friday, and they both did well, but I think we need someone more natural in those areas.
"I think we're missing a little bit of pace and power in the final third."
