WIRRAL'S  summer of sport continues this August as venues across the borough get set to host free tennis events.

There will also be =events at The Oval, Bebington and Birkenhead Park.

Qualified, professional coaches will be on hand to provide advice and support including pointers on how to improve your game.

Modified rackets and balls will be available for younger players, and families are also welcome to attend and try out games including cardio tennis and highland spring mini tennis.

All events will run from 10am to 12pm and 1pm til 3pm. They are free to attend and open to players of all ages and abilities.

The Great British Tennis Weekend is supported by the Lawn Tennis Association, the sport’s governing body.
