TWO excellent goalkeeping displays in the Dutchman Cup Final by Mykael Graham (Wallasey Oval) and Wayne Carragher (Parkview) ensured this game remained on a knife's edge until the dying minutes.

Both teams fought out a very nervy and tense affair that was well-marshalled by the three officials.

Dale Atherton placed a perfect corner past everyone and straight into the net to put Parkview 1-0 ahead and within minutes Jordan Griffith burst through to make it 2-0 with a blistering shot to secure the trophy for a hard working squad and manager Kevin Walters and prevented Oval from completing a treble winning charge.

The climax to the Division One campaign ended with FC Victoria taking the title after sinking Ship Wallasey's chances with a hard fought 3-2 success.

Daren Graham notched a double and Martin Egan added a single as they went 3-0 up, but a late fight back saw Ship score twice to make the game a nail biter until the final whistle, with the Vics keeper making number of fine saves to preserve the points.

Millhouse claimed the Premier division title following their epic 5-3 success over Poulton Royal and dedicated the trophy to their injured captain Jamie Quinn, who sustained a broken ankle in mid-week.

A Dave Rudge brace allied to singles from Craig Griffiths, James Clare and Paul Cupit did the damage, with Luke Street and Tommy Carroll with two goals helping to make this a great game between these two great rivals. Great Float S&S are runners-up after beating Liscard Bronze 2-1.

Wallasey Town came from 3-1 down to beat Vineyard 4-3 in division Two as Sam Hunt-2 and Sam Courtenay levelled matters with Lee Davey bagging the late winner and Mark Munn netted twice and Dave Southall once for the visitors in a topsy-turvy game.

Poulton Vics completed their programme with a 3-0 win over Sandbrook, thanks to Colin O'Keefe (2) and Dan Lewis scoring and Matrix FC beat the champions Wallasey Oval (Alex Eagles) 4-1, with goals from Ryan McIver (2), Josh Davies and Danny King to keep them in the top five.

Heswall Youth finished their season with a 4-1 success over Upton Town (Jamie Clark) in the Dundee Youth division as Will Sara-Kelly, Jordan Dodd, Adam Rassel-Watson and Baz Chandresakr found the net, but they still finished at the foot of the table.

Gayton JFC are still on course to second place in the Grove Youth division following their 4-0 victory against AFC Beb Athletic as both Danny Murphy and Farris Ramzy netted a brace apiece and hey now need one more win to claim the runners-up spot.

The two remaining Cup Finals are Grange Hearts v Millhouse at Ashville FC tonight (Tuesday, April 28) in the Capitol Cup, kick off 6.45pm, and Great Float S&S v Millhouse at Heswall FC on Sunday, May 3, in the Magee Cup Final (11am).
