KENT FC continued their rich vein of form in the Wirral Sunday League's Division One with a 6-3 victory over Wallasey challengers, Telegraph.

Free-scoring forward Jonathan Parkinson weighed in with a superb hat-trick as Stephen English's side bolstered their title push.

Further goals from Danny Morley (2) and Colyfa Kamara completed the statistics with Paul Davies adjudged man of the match.

Reigning champions, Neston Nomads, came unstuck in their tussle with Grace Arms, and had to settle for a share of the spoils following a 2-2 stalemate.

An own goal kept Nomads in the game, after Grace had gone in 2-1 at the break, with goals from Ben Sherlock and Rob Davies.

A second half penalty from Richie Foulkes saved the day for the champions.

Sunday's Division Two action saw Port Sunlight maintain their title challenge, courtesy of a 4-1 verdict over Bronze. The goals were shared between Gary Richards, Mike Walker, Andy Grimes and James Drury.

Will Mellor found the net for MSC Eastham, but it was visitors, Halfway House, who profited in a 2-1 victory. Man of the match, Joe Skinner bagged both goals including a 25-yard screamer to land the points.

In another closely fought contest, Victoria Colts Seniors scored through a Grant Fowler free kick, and although Connor Westbury struck the woodwork in the second half, Seniors failed to add to their tally, as Star Ozzys equalised to confirm a fair result.
