DUE to players being induced to play for other teams and leagues, two clubs have resigned their tenure. 

Ellesmere Port Rangers and Rockpark FC had attempted to continue, but the exodus of players has decimated their squads and caused them to fold, which is a very sad day for football and particularly the league. Remaining fixtures will be altered to show these losses and the league tables will also be adjusted.

Upton FC found form in the division One Cup second round when beating AFC Tima 6-0 to book a semi-final spot, as Nick Jones rifled a hat-trick, Jack Maher notched a double and Sean McCormack completed the scoring in a good team effort.

Premier division action saw Liscard Bronze overcome Windsor 6-2 to stay second, but netting for Windsor were Sean Lowe and Andy New.

Great Float S&S eased past Clarence FC in the Magee Cup second round as Daren Pritchard (2), Tom Harris, Lewis Toland, Lee Dermody and Liam Judge found the net, with Sean Hayley bagging a brace in reply.

In the semi-final of the same competition Millhouse turned over Black FC with a 9-0 trouncing in which Tom Quinn bagged four goals, James Clare netted twice and John Davies, Liam Jameson and Dan Herbert all scored singles.

Three games in division Two resulted in Eastham Rangers recording their second win of the campaign when beating Sandbrook 4-1, with goals from Liam Harris, Alex Woods, Ryan Hodgson and Mark McMahon.

Matrix moved closer to the leaders with a 7-0 victory over Nelson Grove, as Josh Davies (2), Ryan McIvor, Greg Boulger, Scott Sheeran, Danny King and Jack Robinson found the net and Parkview dented the title hopes of Grange Hearts when winning 2-1 thanks to Jordan Griffiths scoring a double. Jack Bradley was the lone scorer for Grange.

Goals from Callum Morrison, Tyler Dodd and Tom Breslin gave Dundee Youth division leaders AFC Liverpool a 3-2 success over Neston Nomads (Sean Hayward & Oliver Thomas) but Cammell Laird 1907 are only a point behind following their 4-2 win over Higher Beb JFC (Elliott Larsen and Matty Toner) thanks to Mike Cavanagh, Lewis Whitby, Taylor Jones and Tom Jones being on song.

Victoria Colts stay in title contention after winning 3-2 versus Heswall Youth, thanks to efforts from Ben Malone, Scott Gore and Pete Monroe.

Despite Tom Murphy scoring Upton Town were beaten 5-1 by West Kirby Wasps who had Joe Malkin (2), Ben Graham, Mike Dodd and Kieran Donaghue on target.

A goal apiece from Jacob Cotgrave, Callum Steel and Liam Astles gave Manor Youth a 3-0 victory against Ashville Youth.

Action in the Grove Youth division saw Shaftesbury Youth go top after beating AC Hoylake 4-3 with goals from Tyler Davies, Sean Taylor, Jacob McGlochlan and Shawn Cherrea and Malvern moved into the top four after they beat Shore Villa 2-0 with goals from Connor Molloy and Matty Ingle.

Saints won 1-0 away at Glenavon and Beechwood Falcons flew past Princes Villa with a 3-0 success to put them into second place.
