TRANMERE Rovers' boss Micky Adams has admitted his squad faces a 'difficult' match against Luton Town on Saturday.

Rovers travel to Kenilworth Road in 23rd place in League Two but on a five-game unbeaten run since the appointment of Adams as manager.

Luton are second on the table and have a home record of five wins, one draw and two defeats this season.

Assessing this weekend's opponents ahead to tomorrow's match, kick off 3pm, Micky Adams said during a press conference at Prenton Park: "John Still has done a fantastic job.

"Luton have an excellent home record. It's no mean feat to go there and try to get a result.

"They have got a system that suits the players they've got. They have got indiviuals that will cause you problems on the day.

"We're under no illusions that this isn't going to a difficult task. I've given the players an analysis of the team we are going to play."

Saturday's game between Luton and Tranmere at Kenilworth Road will be the 27th league meeting between the two clubs, with Luton holding a 13 wins to nine advantage.

A goal from David Edwards for the Hatters was all that separated the teams in December 2007 in the most recent match between the clubs, while late goals from Craig Curran and Antony Kay gave Rovers a 2-1 win in the last match at Prenton Park.

Rovers' most recent win at Kenilworth Road was a 1-0 victory in the FA Cup in 2003-04 thanks to a goal from Micky Mellon.

Janoi Donacien and Armand Gnanduilet return to Micky Adams' squad for Saturday's game at Luton Town.

Donacien missed the midweek win at Bury with a foot injury while Gnanduillet was ineligble for the game at Gigg Lane and the FA Cup win over Bristol Rovers.

Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is unavailable as he is on international duty with Wales, while the game comes too soon for Jason Koumas and Danny Woodards in their comeback from injury. Matt Hill, Liam Davies and Cole Stockton also miss out.

Tranmere travel to Kenilworth Road in 23rd place in League 2 but on a five game unbeaten run since the appointment of Adams as manager.

Luton go into the game in second place in the division and with a home record of five wins, one draw and two defeats this season.

Hatters boss John Still is able to select Pelly Ruddock after he returned to training following a hamstring injury but Alex Wall and Paul Connolly miss out.

Since his appointment as Rover last month, Micky Adams has been working to boost the confidence of his squad. It is a task that is paying off.

Adams said: "I wouldn't say it's been a slow process, but I've had to work, mentally, with this group of players to get them to believe they are not as bad as they thought they were.

"They are confident that they can win games of football.

"We've adapted a system of play that suits the players at the club. I think the system will take us far this season."
