A Top-of-the-table clash in the Dundee Youth division saw a great game end 4-3 in favour of the leaders AFC Liverpool as they beat second placed Victoria Colts, as Brandon Lee-Thomas and Callum Morrison both netted a doubles to secure the points.

Bagging the responses were Peter Monroe with a fine brace and Jake Byrne with a single.

Capitol Cup first round action provided plenty of goals and some upsets, with the best coming from youth team West Kirby Wasps who overcame division two team Nelson Grove 6-3 after extra time, due to doubles from both Declan Kinnear and Jack Ireland and singles from Sam Jones and Ben Glover.

Ashville Youth fired home three goals through Danny Curran (2) and Kieran Hamm but went down 6-3 against Parkview FC who had Jason Rigby-2, Ray Hoey, James Doolan, Dan Price and an own goal on the score sheet.

Goals from Derek Nash (2) and Liam McKenna put Olympic Rangers on the winning podium as they beat Cammell Laird 1907 Youth 3-0.

Two games in the Premier division resulted in wins for Great Float S&S and Liscard Bronze, as Float washed away Primrose with a 12-goal salvo in which Robbie Black netted five times and both Tom Harris and Sean Parrington claimed doubles, with Dave King, James Harris and Mark Chapman all netting one apiece to keep them top of the pile.

Liscard saw off the challenge of Poulton Royal with a 4-2 victory due to Carl Murphy (2), Joel Ledsham and an own goal registering and Tom Carroll and Mike Pickles hit the responses for Royal.

One game in division One resulted in a 4-0 success for Shippons FC against AFC Tima as Adam Chadwick, Scott Tebb, Lewis Johansen and Dave Tacy found the net.
