THE Parakarters Association staged a successful three day Four Nations open meeting at Hoylake last week.
Around forty competitors enjoyed pleasant, warm conditions on Hoylake beach.
Fewer races than normal were completed on the first two days due to lack of wind but a good breeze on Saturday made for excellent competition.
There were five Dutch visitors plus two from Belgium along with others from England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
Hoylake Sailing Club acted as hosts with a prizegiving social on the last day.
Overall victory went to Adrian Levelle from Warrington.
Weston Super Mare visitors Ryan McGavin finished runner-up with Dutchman Arjen van der Tol third.
England One took the team title from England Two with Wales third.
The Parakarters are due back at Hoylake in February for the opening stage of the English National Championship which covers five venues during 2015.
