CALLUM Allcock was the star man for Kent FC at Cammell Laird after his four-goal salvo took the wind out of Bebington's sails.

It saw the Liverpool-based Premier Division outfit complete a clean sweep of the League's major cup competitions.

After previously lifting the Premier and Pyke Cups, Kent cemented a memorable hat-trick of domestic honours and added the Challenge Cup to their collection, following Sunday's 6-0 rout of the newly crowned Division One champions.

A shell-shocked Bebington were left reeling after Allcock struck three times and was joined on the score sheet by Jonathan Parkinson following a first half which left Graeme Kearney's side chasing a lost cause.

After the interval, despite the tireless efforts of Stuart Hardman and Chris Balllard, Bebington had to settle for second best after Allcock and speed merchant Danny Morley took further advantage and confirmed a 6-0 result.

On Friday evening, Bromborough and Port Siunlight locked horns at Lairds in the Martin Caulfield Junior Cup final.

The trophy was donated several years ago by the family of the late Mr Caulfield, a long-serving committee member at former WSL club Heather Brow.

Chances were few and far between as the first-half produced a 0-0 stalemate.

The second period was anybody's game until Sunlight made the breakthrough with 20 minutes remaining thanks to a smart finish from Andy Grimes.

Substitute Nick Blizard then made it 2-0 with a thumping far post header, before fellow substitute Lewis Stephenson broke free and made it 3-0.
