CHRISTLETON Youth secured the Dundee Youth Division title with a 9-1 eclipse of Eastham Rangers thanks to Matty Blount firing a fine treble in a dominant team effort that showed their champion class.

FC Victoria needed extra time to beat Heswall Youth in the Capitol Cup third round as Danny Holdsworth and Elvis Zinyama netted their goals in a 2-1 victory.

On target for Poulton Royal were Byron Roberts, Mike Pickles and Dean Brown as they sunk Ship Wallasey 3-1 and also scored the visitors goal.

Millhouse turned over Higher Beb JFC in a 5-0 success that saw Josh Amis net twice and James Clare, Paul Cupit and Mark Reynolds added the others against the youth team.

Despite goals from Anthony Clarkson and Wayne Ball, Rockpark FC were beaten 3-2 by Liscard Bronze as Carl Murphy (2) and Craig Pallister netted.

Jonathon Blackwell registered a fine double for Grange Moreton but they went down 5-2 versus PLCCFC and Heswall Sunday eased home 4-0 against Shippons FC.

The only game in division One resulted in a 6-0 verdict for AM Plant Hire as they crushed AFC Tima with goals from Rob Bergwin (3), Mark Roberts, Tom Jolley and an own goal to ease out of the bottom two.

Vineyard moved into fourth place in division Two after beating Cavendish FC 2-1, thanks to Craig Mills and Mark Munt bagging the goals and Poulton Vics took the spoils versus Parkview96 with goals from Mike Naylor, Jason Wilde and Chris Cousins, with James Doolan and Mike McNamara hitting the replies.

Poor communication resulted in the Youth Divisions Cup semi final being cancelled which also means the final cannot be played next week.

Once other dates have been found these games will eventually take place, with all parties being informed.

Two games were completed in the Grove Youth Division and saw Beechwood Falcons share the points with Victoria Colts in a 2-2 draw, with George Dilworth and Leon Clarke registering for the Falcons and Matty Leech grabbed a double in response for Colts.

AFC Beb Athletic won a five-goal thriller against Gayton JFC as Connor Blaylock scored twice and Ben Thompson netted a single in Athletics 3-2 win.

A Battling performance was not enough for Vauxhall Colts as they were beaten by a very competent Warrington Town Youth team 4-0 in the Cheshire FA Youth Cup Final, but gave their all against a team who had a better finishing power and an excellent goal keeper who kept out all their best efforts.
