IN-FORM Guiseley scored five first half goals as they brushed aside their hosts with ease at Rivacre Park.

The first goal was scored after 12 minutes when a half-cleared corner eventually fell to Danny Ellis who took one touch before drilling a left footed shot into the corner of the net from 12 yards out.

Just three minutes later it was 2-0 when Wayne Brooksby had time on the right to put in a low cross and Adam Boyes was on hand at the back post to tap the ball home from close range.

The third goal was scored on 25 minutes when Boyes played in strike partner Alex Johnson who outpaced his marker and slotted the ball past Zac Jones.

Boyes grabbed his second of the game on 28 minutes when Rhys Meynell delivered a dangerous cross from the left and the Guiseley striker poked the ball home from close range.

The fifth and final goal was scored on 37 minutes when substitute Michael Potts was hauled down in the area by Tom Hannigan.

Gavin Rothery stepped up and confidently blasted the penalty past Jones to complete a miserable afternoon for the Motormen.

Motors did improve in the second half but rarely threatened in the final third.

Guiseley, on the other hand, were happy to take their foot off the pedal and play the ball about until the final whistle.

The away side stay in fifth place and remain in the final play-off position in the Conference North.

Motors are away to Gloucester City this Saturday,  April 12, kick off will be at 3pm.
