3:00pm Tuesday 1st October 2013 in Sport
ENGINE problems marred Jo Lock's racing at Oulton Park in the BSA National Championship for F125 open karts.
The Bebington driver seized his engine on the third lap of the practice session.
He borrowed an engine from a colleague and was able to start the first race, but at the very back of the grid.
He had made up three places by the first corner but finished in 15th position in his class of 23 starters.
Having made some minor adjustments to the kart for the second race, Jo finished in 14th place, at an average speed of 82mph.
