Wallasey and district Sunday League: Third win in row for Upton Town
UPTON Town now head the new Grove Youth division after their third win on the trot that saw them claim a hard fought victory over Gayton JFC 1-0 in which Calum Mernock netted the only goal.
West Kirby Wasps stung Wallasey Wanderers with a 5-2 success, as Dan McLouchin-2, Jack Ledsham, Tom Jones and Tom Nelson found the net and Vauxhall Colts and Victoria Colts fought out a 1-1 draw, with Brandon Lee-Thomas and Jake Burn being the scorers.
Ashville Youth recorded a 6-3 victory over AFC Bebington Athletic, as Tome Cardus fired a treble, Joel Addey netted a double and Chris Brizell added a single, with Jack Taylor, Kyle McCann and Nat Hannon found the replies.
