Sailing: Brass Monkey Series continues

THERE was keen competition on the River Mersey as the Liverpool Yacht Club/Tranmere Sailing Club Brass Monkey Series continued with race five.

Crews were rewarded for getting up early with some enjoyable competition.

Eazi Tiger owned by Jonathon Oliver again headed Class A from the Richard Booth owned Another Nods with Mighty Max (Neil Thomas) third.

Class B went to Stuart Lofthouse in Skukusa. Paul Hampson’s Magic Moments was runner-up with Di-Rich (Adele McKenna) third.

There was only one starter in the Venture group with She Fever owned by Martin Costello and partners sailing over.

There is an 8.45am start for the next races this coming Sunday.
