THERE was a 15-strong turn-out of yachts for recent Liverpool Yacht Club/Tranmere Sailing Club Brass Monkey series races on the River Mersey.
Jonathan Oliver’s Corby 29 Eazi Tiger edged out Another Nods (Richard Booth) for the top prize in Class A.
Class B went to Stuart Lofthouse in the Hunter Impala Skukusa from Di-Rich (Adele McKenna).
Bare Necessity owned by Bill Stanistreet and Charles Cooper won the Venture division.
The next Mersey competition is scheduled for this Sunday with a 12.30pm start.
