A 53-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after police executed a drugs warrant in Noctorum.

A sophisticated cannabis farm was discovered containing 350 plants, and a large quantity of growing equipment was also recovered at the property in Pine Tree Avenue.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and is currently being questioned at a police station on Merseyside.

Neighbourhood Inspector Brian Griffiths said: "Information from the public is vital in our continuing war on drugs.

"I want to thank the community for their support so far and urge them to keep supplying us with information by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
