CAR journalist and broadcaster Quentin Willson was joined by almost 100 people at Chester Zoo for the launch of a new Wirral-based company.
One of the nation's best known car commentators and a regular face on ITV's Tonight programme, GMTV and BBC Breakfast, was helping launch an accident management firm, Call Zebra.
"Quentin was particularly impressed with the business development training we’re offering to companies."
Darren Gilling
The company currently operates promises to ensure the recovery companies, body repair shops, car hire companies and solicitors work together smoothly to get motorists back on the road.
Boss Darren Gilling said: "Quentin agrees that consumers should be offered more choice and better, faster service when they have their cars repaired after an accident.
"He was particularly impressed with the business development training we're offering to companies."
Mr Gilling says insurers are attempting to take control of the accident market and have rapidly reduced the number of repair and recovery companies they are using nationally, which has already put some of them out of business.
Quentin added: "Anything that improves the standard of customer care, safety and technical expertise in the car repair industry has to be a good thing for everybody."
