Back pain is extremely common with about four in five people suffering at some point in their lifetime. The types of pain can vary but usually feels like an ache, tension or stiffness in your back and can be triggered by bad posture, bending awkwardly, or lifting incorrectly. Back pain is most common in the lower back, although it can be felt anywhere along your spine, from your neck down to your hips and can impact on many activities that you would normally like to do.
By visiting a Wirral Community NHS Trust specialist physiotherapist or osteopath you will receive treatment that will help  you to recover, reduce the chances of developing further back pain and lessen the impact it may be having on your life.

We offer individual appointments, group work, exercise programmes and classes (including Pilates), manual therapy and acupuncture.  After a full assessment you’ll get a treatment plan tailored to you from one of our experienced NHS physiotherapists and osteopaths.

If you are worried about your back or you are finding it difficult to cope with the pain visit your GP and ask for Wirral NHS Community Trust. Benefit from seeing a specialist NHS physiotherapist or osteopath offering the full range of manual therapy services available to tackle back pain.

The good news is that most back pain will resolve with the correct treatment.  Make your appointment to see us and put back pain behind you.
