This week is sexual health awareness week! Making positive choices about contraception and having safer sex is important, not only to avoid sexually transmitted infections (STIs), but also to protect your relationships and general health and wellbeing.

'Sexual Health Wirral' is FREE confidential sexual health service available to people in Wirral of all ages.

Run as a partnership by Wirral Community NHS Trust, Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Brook Wirral, our friendly service provides expert advice, information and support as well as tests and treatments. 

We have clinics running across Wirral seven days a week offering daytime, evening and weekend clinics which are convenient to you.

Do I need to book an appointment?

The majority of clinics operate on a walk-in basis, so no appointment is necessary, making it flexible to fit with you. However, for some specialised clinics and when attending for some methods of contraception, appointments are necessary to ensure the correctly skilled staff are available.
