A Wallasey man today denied having a dangerous dog.

Tegid Mevik pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to being the owner of a dog while it was dangerously out of control in Lea Road, Wallasey, on May 31 this year.

58-year-old Mevik, of Lea Road, was further remanded on bail to await trial on November 26.
