Ronnie Moore hoping for loan signing as Rovers pair are doubtful for Bournemouth
Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore says he could be without both Joe Thompson and Andy Robinson for Saturday's game at Bournemouth.
Thompson picked up an ankle injury against Yeovil while Robinson has been out of action since the Scunthorpe away game with a hamstring injury.
As a result, the manager is hoping to bring in a loan signing before the journey to the Goldsands Stadium.
Ronnie told Rovers' website: "We don't know about Robbo at the moment. His hamstring is fine but his calf has tightened up on him.
"He'll train today with Shaun Garnett and the young kids and if he comes through that fingers crossed he might have a chance for Saturday.
"Thommo had a whack on the ankle so it's swollen and sore and I don't think he's available for the weekend.
"I am trying to get somebody in on loan, we need another body."
Ronnie has been named League One Manager of the Month for two months on the run and is hoping his side's league-leading form will spark a rise in attendances.
With Tranmere coming in second cheapest in League One in the BBC's Price of Football survey, the manager says his team provide great value for money.
"We'd love to see more coming through the turnstiles.
"It is gradually getting there, it was just short of six and a half thousand on Saturday.
"They are coming and all we can do is what we're doing on the pitch. Then, hopefully the doubters and the non-believers will come back.
"We're second cheapest so get yourselves down to Prenton Park and help us get what we all want at the end of the season which is promotion."
