Bebington High School wins Merseyside five-a-side competition

BEBINGTON High Sports College has won a five-a-side tournament organised by the Safer Schools Partnership.

Students took on teams from eight schools across Merseyside in the competition at Bebington Oval.

They made it through to the final, before claiming the coveted title against Wallasey school.

Paul Connelly, head of PE said: "Bebington High Sports College is extremely proud of their players; they have displayed tremendous character and thoroughly deserve their success.

"It was an exciting final which was closely contested and played in the right spirit."

Safer School Partnerships encourage the police, children and young people to build good relationship, trust and mutual respect.

The School Liaison officers work closely with schools, staff and pupils in order to support them within the school and local community in an attempt to promote positive relationships between the schools and police.
