A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a collision with a motorbike this morning.

The incident happened at around 8am on Heath Lane, Little Sutton, when a bicycle rider was involved in an accident with a motorcycle.

The cyclist was taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital to be treated for head injuries.

Police have closed nearby Welsh Road near the A550/A41 at Two Mills traffic lights.

Its such a dangerous road to cross,whether on a bike or driving a car being driven by somebody with the eye sight of a mole, and reactions of an a meba, like the fool who pulled out in front of me on sunday morning on the same junction.

Best wishes for the cyclist to make a good recovery though.
