WIRRAL’S seventh Food and Drink Festival takes place this weekend.

Claremont Farm in Bebington will be transformed into a cornucopia of fantastic food on Sunday and Monday, August 26 and 27.

The festival features exhibitors and stalls from the finest specialist food producers in England and North Wales.

It has grown into one of the most successful in the country, and last year attracted. almost 26,000 visitors.

There will be a Food & Farming Marquee, a fantasic food court, live music and entertainment, a Brimstage Brewery tent, Circus Sensible - the big top tent where you can learn circus skills, cookery workshops in 'Can Cook Domes' -including sessions for children, and the sheep show is back by popular demand.

The live demo stage will be compered by Paul Askew - London Carriage Works/Hope Street Hotel. Demos will include those by Paul himself, the Vegi-Table, Richard Fox from The Leverhulme Hotel, Claire Lara Masterchef champion, and many more.

Festival hours: Sun 10am to 5pm, Mon 10am to 4pm) A free shuttle bus will operate from Spital train station to the festival.
