TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the stabbing of a man in Wallasey last night.
Police were called to the scene at Seabank Road just after 11pm, following reports that a 38-year-old man from Wallasey had been stabbed several times.
He has been taken to hospital and is being treated for injuries that are described as serious, but are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
The men arrested, a 27-year-old from Wallasey and a 22-year-old from Birkenhead were taken to police station, where they are being interviewed by officers.
