The scene in Borough Road this afternoon
A WIRRAL man was taken to hospital in the early hours of today after he was attacked.
The victim, from Birkenhead, was assaulted at an address in Borough Road, Birkenhead at around 3.45am.
He was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital to be treated for facial bruising.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man on suspicion of assault.
