Three trapped in Hamilton Square station lift

Firefighters made contact with and reassured people who were trapped in a lift at Hamilton Square train station.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 7.26pm, on Monday, August 6, to the station in Birkenhead.

Two women and a man were trapped in the lift, which had lost power.

An engineer managed to restore the power and the lift was brought back to lobby level of the station.

The three passengers were freed unharmed just shortly after 8pm.

Fire engines from Birkenhead and Wallasey were called to the incident.

I'm thinking of that film, Devil.
