Teeanger arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Wirral shooting
A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Birkenhead earlier this year.
Police were called to Borough Road at around 10.45pm on April 18 and discovered a 49-year-old man had been seriously injured by a single shot to his back.
He was rushed to hospital and is reported to be in a "serious but stable" condition.
A 17-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Wednesday morning.
He has been questioned by detectives and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
