Wirral events to mark National Breastfeeding week

TWO Wirral Council children's centres will mark National Breastfeeding Week with fun events for mums, mums-to-be and anyone who has breastfed their babies.

A two-hour-long 'Big Feed' event will take place at Pensby Children's Centre on Monday, June 25.

Activities will include baby massage, bead-craft and jewellery making and reading activities for young readers.

A similar event – held in conjunction with the NHF Infant Feed team - will be held at Bromborough Children's Centre on June 27.

National Breastfeeding Week runs from June 24 to 30 and is supported by organisations like Unicef, the National Childbirth Trust and the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers.
