Two Wirral men arrested after street brawl
TWO men were arrested after a brawl in a Wirral street yesterday.
The incident happened at around 3.40pm near Fearnley Park, The Woodlands, Birkenhead.
A 47-year-old man from Prenton and a 50-year-old man from Birkenhead were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
One of the men had serious facial injuries and was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital while under arrest.
The scene was cordoned off for a forensic search and door-to-door enquiries were carried out.
