A WIRRAL teenager took to the red carpet to rub shoulders with Hollywood A-listers at the glitzy premiere of new movie "Avengers Assemble".

Naomi Kee, who attends Prenton High School, was invited to report from the London event as part of her involvement with education charity Filmclub.

And the 16-year-old got the chance to interview the comic-book inspired film’s leading stars including Robert Dowey Jnr, who plays the Iron Man, and Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Incredible Hulk.

Naomi also got the opportunity to chat to the film’s producer – and president of Marvel Studios – Kevin Feige about bringing together some the biggest comic book superheroes on the big screen.

Naomi said: “It was the most amazing thing ever! Being at such a big premiere is such an incredible experience. "My favourite person I interviewed was Robert Downey Jnr because he’s such a big star – you don’t expect to be standing in his presence at all let alone speaking to him!

“At the start I was dead nervous but as I got into it, it got easier.

She added: “I absolutely loved the film. It was something different and not just the usual generic superhero film as there are six superheroes and one of them is a girl, which is a key thing for the girls who don’t think superhero films are for them! And I really enjoyed it.”

Naomi, who belongs to her school’s film club - where pupils watch, discuss and learn through watching films from past and present – has previously interviewed Dexter Flexter at the London Film Festival as part of her role as a reporter for Filmclub.
