Woman arrested on suspicion of child neglect

A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a three-year-old girl was found walking alone in the streets around Birkenhead Park at about 9.30am this morning.
The child was taken to hospital and found to be uninjured.
The arrested woman, aged 24, has been taken to a police station, where she is being questioned by officers.
