BIRKENHEAD Park put up a spirited show at Beverley, but they were still unable to reverse their losing trend in North League One, suffering a 27-12 defeat.
Park's tries came from flanker Danny Jones and Steve Dodd. Joe McGowan converted.
It was a better display by Park, but they will need to improve significantly again if they are to halt the unbeaten run of Caldy in this week's local derby at Paton Field.
