A WIRRAL man has been charged over the death of a teenage girl who fell between the train and the platform at Liverpool James Street station.
Georgia Varley, from Wallasey, died on October 22 last year when she was on her way to the city centre for a night out.
Following the 16-year-old's death, thousands of friends flooded tribute pages on Facebook to pay their respects.
Now, British Transport Police have confirmed that a man has been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence.
Christopher James McGee, 44, of Edenhurst Avenue, Wallasey, will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates' Court on February 23.
