MOTORISTS using the Mersey Tunnels will be asked to observe the two minutes' silence tomorrow, Armistice Day.
Vehicles travelling through the tunnels in both directions will be stopped at the booths at 11am.
Councillor Mark Dowd, Chair of Merseytravel, said: "It is an opportunity to reflect on the events of war and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
"We should also remember those who continue to make that sacrifice in current conflicts."
Merseytravel bus stations and offices will also observe the two-minute silence.
This will be repeated at the tunnels at 11am on Remembrance Sunday.
