A WIRRAL off-licence has been struck by robbers for the second time in just two weeks.

Four men threatened workers at Bargain Booze, Pasture Road, Moreton last Wednesday at around 6.10pm.

The raiders, who are in their 20s, went behind the counter and got away with cash and cigarettes, leaving staff “very shaken.”

The incident follows an armed robbery at the store on September 11, when two men carrying an iron bar also made off with cash and cigarettes.

Now police are keen to speak to those pictured in the CCTV footage in relation to the most recent robbery.

Detective Constable Neil Ogden said: "This robbery happened in broad daylight, and both staff and customers were in the shop when they burst in.

"Merseyside Police takes incidents of this nature extremely seriously and we are committed to catching the offenders.

"I would ask members of the public to take particular note of the distinctive detail on the clothing of the men in the CCTV and contact us if they recognise them, or have any information about their whereabouts so we can eliminate them from our enquiries."

The first man is 6ft 2 ins, and wearing a bright blue North Face-type jacket.

The second is 5ft 11 ins to 6ft tall wearing a gray North Face hooded top.

The third is was wearing a black Adidas top with gray stripes and the fourth offender is described as being white and dressed all in black.
